Google Pay Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction (Terms relating to Google Pay)

These are the terms and conditions for using Google Pay with a eUSD account – for example, when you save your card to a ‘Wallet’ on your Google or Android device to make payments.

Please make sure you read these terms carefully, as you’ll need to accept them before you can use Google Pay with your eUSD account.

You should read this document together with the eUSD app terms and the terms for your account. All of these terms will apply when you use Google Pay.

2. Third-party terms

When you use your eUSD card with Google Pay, there may be other terms that apply – for example, VISA’s terms. Unless we give the meaning of a word in these terms, we’ll use the meaning given in the terms for your account, the eUSD app terms, or the Google Pay and Google Wallet terms.

Google Pay services are provided by Google. We are not responsible for any issues, including fraud or malfunctions, related to Google Pay or your device.

Where you’ve agreed other terms with Google – for example, terms relating to Google Pay and Google Wallet services as well as use of your device – these terms will also apply to your use of Google Pay.

3. How does Google Pay work?

You can link your eUSD card to Google Pay by adding the eUSD card to the Google Pay app or by adding the eUSD card to your Google Wallet. After that, where the Google Pay sign is shown, just follow the relevant instructions (which will include security features such as entering a password). Please note that contactless payment limits may apply depending on the retailer and payment terminal used.

4. How do I stop using Google Pay with eUSD Card?

To stop using Google Pay with your eUSD card, go into the Google Pay or Google Wallet app and remove the card.

5. Can eUSD restrict my use of Google Pay?

Yes, we may suspend or limit your use of Google Pay with your eUSD account. Please refer to your account terms for details on when we may restrict, limit, or close your account in case of any violations.

6. Are there any security rules I have to follow?

It’s your responsibility to:

  • Read the terms of your account and eUSD app: These also apply to using your card with Google Pay. The terms explain what you must and must not do to keep your device, app and account secure.
  • Keep your details safe: You must not share your account security details with anyone.
  • Inform us immediately if you lost your device: If your Android device is lost or stolen, get in touch to let us know immediately either by sending us an email at cs@eusd.com, or via telephone on +852 8418-6365.

Take extra care when you change devices:

  • If you change your device, delete all relevant information including Google Pay.
  • If we replace your eUSD card, we’ll link your new card to Google Pay automatically.

7. Does it cost anything to use Google Pay?

We don’t charge you when you use Google Pay.
